From
the South on I-95( Maine pike) take exit 44 onto route I-295 for approx 2.1 mi. to Portland exit 4. Cross the river favoring right lane and at the Light and turn right which puts you on Commercial Street . Stay on Commercial (for a little over a mi.) going under the Casco Bay Bridge . Continue pass Park St. (one way) and a gas station on your left. Turn left at the next Red Light (High St.- Becky’s Dinner will be on your right). Cross York , Danforth & Pleasant Streets and turn left at what will be the 3rd Red Light (Spring St.). The Inn is at the next blinking light (intersection Spring & Park St.) There is a 15-minute free parking on the right, in front of the Inn & West End Grocery at the blinking light.
From the North
on I-295,
take the Forest Avenue South, Exit 44. Keep in the right lane, and turn
right at the traffic light, through Deering Oaks Park, following the
route 77 signs south (State Street). Stay in the left lane as you
approach the top of the hill and turn left at the light onto Congress
Street (at the Longfellow Monument). Proceed one block and turn right
onto Park Street. The Inn will be on your (near) left, at the Blinking
Light at the first intersection (Spring & Park Streets).
Temporarily park on the side or in front of the Inn to check in and
unload. You will then be assigned a convenient reserved parking space
for your stay with us
